Dream Catcher Farm teaches children and adults a balanced seat, and safely help riders achieve their full potential using the Four Basics of Centered Riding® and over 30 years of experience in equine behavior.
Jessica is a Certified Horsemanship Association Master Instructor, and Level II Centered Riding Instructor, with American, German, and Austrian training in western, dressage, hunter/jumper, and trail riding, and has been teaching since 1999. She now competes in the United Mounted Shooters, is a 2-time State Ladies' High Point, and has coached to the National level. Some of the trainers that Jessica has worked with include Col. Alfred Kitts (International Equestrian Federation Judge), Olana Laffey of Evenstride, Ltd. in MA, Küblingen Hof and Reiterhof Altmühlsee in Germany, and Wanderreiterhof Unterweissenbach in Austria. She continues her education through lessons and numerous clinics throughout the year.
Jessica is the Vice President and on the Board of Directors for the Maine Cowboy Mounted Shooters, a former Riding School Director, Vice President/Outreach Officer of an equestrian start up state chapter, FN Verlag member, member of the US Equestrian Federation, American Youth Horse Council and has volunteered at the University of New Hampshire's Therapeutic Riding Program. Jessica has also planned, developed, and sustained training programs for students and equines, worked with and managed internal and external teams for orchestrating II-Phase Hunter/Jumper events, developed a horsemanship program for underprivileged kids, the "Summer Horses and Fun Day Camp" created and ran a Western Equestrian Club, runs the Mainely Wild Mustangs Youth Club and sustains a 'relationship building on trust' training program.
She also has two business degrees, a certificate in Equine Nutrition, completed a pre-veterinarian university program, and continually furthers her equine education. Jessica was also an AAU Jr. Olympic fast pitch softball player a German and US National fast pitch softball player, and formerly a Girl Scouts of America troop leader. She has two children that help Dream Catcher Farm become a truly inviting and family friendly atmosphere.
